Hi,
I was looking for another SXLC2 for a IBM PS/2 and found this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/366250192313?_ul=PT

Bought one and received it but instead of 50 it has 66 despite being a G50 and i don’t have the spare time to solder it to the motherboard and test it.

I used a cotton tip with alcohol and everithing looked legit.

Does anyone have this CPU to confirm if it is a genuine TI486sxlc2 g50 pq?

This is typical lasered/remarked Chinese part... Might be fine might not be, only way to know is to solder it...

I thought the same. But the back of the chip looks like the one shown on CPU World:

A lot of people have problems double clocking them at all.

Out of two TI486SXLC2-50 chips I tested. One I only tested at 66Mhz and was totally fine. Another at 80-100Mhz and was fine. At the full 5V though, not 3.3v.

If they all were reproductions on modern process nodes I'd believe it.
