Recently snagged this Geforce2 Ultra in a for parts GPU bundle and happy to say it works great. Only problem is the original fan is MIA and I have no idea what replacement fan to use on it. Connector looks non-standard. In the meantime I have a Noctua case fan cooling it which may be overkill but this thing gets hot!

it probably uses something like one of these:

Tho as you probably suspect finding a (working) direct replacement might be near impossible.

But you can take any 5 volt fan that fits inside the heat-sink and just snip away the shroud just leaving the motor and the fan.
Then glue it down and just solder the leads directly to the card, the plastic on the connector just slips out and leaves the pins fully exposed.

It's using one of the standard 12v 0.06A 2-pin fans which were broadly used during that era. You can just remove the plastic part if connector does not fit.

Or you can buy something like that instead: https://gelidsolutions.com/product/accessorie … slot-fan-holder

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

Appreciate the info guys. Didn't occur to me that the plastic bit would come off easily by wiggling it out. Finding an original replacement of the right size (looks to be 40mm?) and voltage/amp rating is very much so proving to be a challenge. I've found a couple of alternatives including a newer 12v/0.06a 40mm fan and a decent looking replacement cooler with a bigger 12v/0.18a fan on AliExpress. Would either of these be good to work with?
