After years of waiting the Vintage Computer Festival PNW is back, and it is just about a month away. We have 25+ exhibits including "big iron", homebrew machines, packet radio, Japanese home computers, upgrades, software projects, etc. And on Saturday we'll have three great talks on the history of Atari, the Burroughs mainframe computer family, and the recent efforts to recover UNIX V4 from an ancient tape.
Our new venue is in Tukwila, south of Seattle near the SEATAC airport, with good access to transportation and plenty of on-site parking. As it is near the airport there are plenty of hotel rooms in the area too.
Come spend a day (or two!) to check out the talks and exhibits, and best of all, hang out with like-minded people. VCF PNW is sponsored by the Interim Computer Museum, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. Our suggested donation for attending is just $10 each day which goes to defray the cost of the event and help support the museum.
