Amazingly, Philips still has their page and download up for their old sound cards:

For the PSC705:
https://www.philips.com.sg/c-p/PSC705_17/-

I still have the PSC706 I bought new. Who knows where the box and SPDIF cable went.

I might have the CD around somewhere but was not able to locate it in my stash of CDs so if I still have it, it must be somewhere else.

I still had the PSC706 that I bought in the fall of 2001, box, cable and CD - until the fire.

I used that card until the fall of 2008 when I bought an Asus P5Q Pro, and it wouldn't work with it for some reason.

After watching many YouTube videos about older computer hardware, YouTube began recommending videos about trains - are they trying to tell me something?

The Philips site no longer has the drivers/downloads for these cards.
They actually went out of their way to also disable it on the WaybackMachine.

I was able to find PSC705_WDM_ENG_V187 drivers, but not the latest 189 betas.

If anyone has the original CD for the card and also the latest available drivers, could you please upload them somewhere.
Thank you.

I've got the original CD and have already ripped it. Just working on finding all the drivers possible so I can package it all up into a single package and I will upload it to vogonsdrivers and archive.org. I'll post back here once I have it uploaded.

Edit: Think I have gotten everything that still exists for this card now.

Archive.org

I'll update again when I get a chance to upload to vogonsdrivers.

The CD should have all the latest drivers and software that was released.

Thank you, guys!
By the way, the card sounds great.
I've played some Quake 3 (unpatched version from the CD, v 1.11) with a3dapi.dll 2.25 copied into the game folder.
While there is a bit of audible popping, the positional accuracy with A3D enabled is great (I'm using headphones).
With this specific game, it only works well on Windows XP, though.
In Windows 98 with the same drivers (WDM v187), sounds play twice.
The 259 VXD driver didn't seem to produce the same level of effects as the WDM driver.

I look forward to testing out the latest drivers and also experiencing the original CD for the first time!
