Anyone knows what case is this?
Anyone knows what case is this?
Niceeee e, thank you.
Bloody good and big case. Solid thick metal.
Going in my i7 3rd gen build.
Was looking for a full tower with a dvd drive bay and bought this sh for 20 quid. A bargain.
Yes, Carbide 400R is a good choice. I had it around 2013 with i7-4770 build, but later upgraded to Fractal Design Define R4, which was also pretty good case from that era.
Is that a full tower as well?
Initially for this build i got a brand new Fractal Focus G , but returned it to amazon after i noticed the despicable dimensions. Such a horrible design , so small that the optical drive would hit the motherboard. Practically , 0 space between the motherboard and optical drive.
I think starting 2015ns , there is 0 reason to buy midi cases. it s either full tower or fishtank. The midi ones are so small , basically wont work with anytning except a micro atx build.
Yes, the Define R4 was bit smaller, but still big.

Note: It's advertised as quiet case, but you'll pay for it with slightly higher CPU/GPU temps. I also sold it after a while.
Excellent case! My son had one and he loved it. Was pretty easy to build in. Nice and sturdy.
Believe it or not, I'm still using the Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced case I got back in 2011/2012 for my primary modern build. Heavy beast, very sturdy steel construction, and easy to build in. I should replace it, but at this point it feels like an old friend that's been there through so many builds.

well , the full towers from that era , 2014 15 16 still make LOADS of sense. Specially if you do need a dvd drive bay.
