I’m trying to setup my quite large 21” CRT PC monitor and it’s a beast.

The monitor is about 19” deep and I feel I need to sit about 20” from the screen. That’s a distance of about 39” or over 3’ from the wall.

Is anybody using any corner desks for something like this? …or maybe building something from butcher block would work?

The corner desk solution "should" work as I had a similar setup some years ago.
I had the desk a bit off of the wall and the corner piece gave some room for the back of the monitor.

Extra credit for the user name as well...

I either fix it or break it permanently... there is no try.
