This is windows 98 website I need some help and it is certainly the right place to ask for help, you need to explain to me how it is against proper etiquette to ask some one to send me an email ?

This isn't a Windows 98 website, its's a forum for getting old games working on new systems but other topics are allowed as long as they are in the correct forum.
As far as forum etiquette click the link in my signature, there is no harm on just sending emails but rather your expectation that someone is going to visit a forum, read your post here and then email you seperately especially if you are asking for copyrighted software and using this forum as a go between. If you want to illegally download MS-DOS or whatever software you need to restore your files (depending on your countries laws) there are plenty of search engines that will tell you where to go.
