Hi, I've got an SC-55 and I'd like to hook it up to my Pentium 4 Windows ME retro PC today. However, in the MIDI menu, I can only find Microsoft wavetable and the card's built in MIDI synthesizer. There isn't an option for the game port at all.
I am currently using the Dell WDM driver for Sound Blaster PCI 64, which is the card I have. I am really sure how I would be able to enable the game port.
Thanks a lot.

The Dell OEM AudioPCI 64V CT5807 does not have a joystick/midi port, so if you install that driver obviously it will not be present in hardware devices

If you have the Dell OEM AudioPCI 64 CT5803 with joystick port you will need to install the driver for that card

Thanks a lot. Turns out I am using the wrong driver 'cuz I do have the CT5803. Oh also, I am wondering which driver I could use with CT4730, another Ensoniq-style card.

The CT4730 is a non-OEM Sound Blaster PCI 64V, drivers are at the bottom of this page

Or on Internet Archive
