When I turn on the sound in ultima 8, I only hear some bmmmmm but in background the music play. when i turn off the sound the bmmmmm is gone but what worth is playing without sound. can anybody help me, i'm using vdmsound 2.0.4 and abandonware loader but i still don't got this sound working well. please help

According to psz, speech won't work properly. According to Dominus, no sound will work properly at all on an NT OS.
If you had a Win9x/XP dual-boot setup, you could probably run it properly on the Win9x side.
U8Patch + VDMSound == Sound/Music/ REALLY screwed up speech( Turn it off )!

So far it is Ultima 8 + patch + any way to emulate sound on NT based systems = bad sfx and speech. Music plays fine actually.
Yeah, and turning off sfx and speech is the only way to go.

This is why I continue to be an advocate of the Win9x/XP dual-boot setup. As I understand it, this patch works pretty well on the Win9x side.
