So I read about the Daniel K XFI Support pack 5.0 providing compatibility for the XFI Titanium HD under Windows XP.

I have Windows XP 32 bit Professional with Service Pack 3.

When running setup.exe, after unpacking the support pack, the installer returns this error.

"The Windows operating system running on this computer is not supported by this product. Setup will exit."

So is the XFI Titanium HD being supported under XP with this 5.0 support pack nonsense?
I know that the XFI Titanium HD is not supported under XP in general...

It is this support pack which claims full product compatibility under XP 32 ánd 64.

I also tried to run the support pack 8.0 in case I should have to go back to my "normal" XFI Titanium (non-HD).
This support pack returns the same error (With the Titanium HD still slotted in the motherboard!!!).

The XFI Titanium HD is found under device manager as "unknown device". When manually installing the driver, they install but the card returns a "Code 10".

There were no drivers for XP. Daniel's pack is a collection of all drivers for NT5/NT6 with some fixes.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

Thanks. So there is an error in the description about the drivers being compatible with the Titanium HD under Windows XP.
There is a lot of false information about this on Reddit too...

I will put the normal Titanium card back in and try the 8.0 pack.

Confirmed: 8.0 support pack installs just fine with the normal Xfi Titanium... god bless false information online.
