Fujitsu Futro S400 power adapter has a special 4 pin DIN connector. Does anyone know if the power adapter has two sets of individual 12V output? Or both +12V are connected together.
I would like to know if the power adapter can be replaced with a generic 12V/5A laptop adapter plus this cable:

Thanks.

An original Futro S400 power adapter with a cut power cord found its way to me. Because of that I can confirm that the adapter has a coax cable, so bipolar. Both +12V pins are connected together in the plug. Also both ground pins and the shield are connected together in the plug.

The attachment Futro S400 Power Adapter Coax Cord.jpeg is no longer available

Thanks so much!
That means I can power Futro S400 with a USB-C power supply with this adapter.

Hey!

I am super glad I could help. Honestly didn’t think there would be any reaction. Also TIL that such adapters exist. I had thought these were super weird brand specific plugs.

But a word of warning. Be very careful with the pinout: The adapters I found that look like the one you posted connect 1 + 3 and 2 + 4 together. The Futro needs 1 + 2 together and 3 + 4.

Good to know. It seems the one for CCTV should work: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B39J7D39/
