I ran 2.87.1 on GP3 2000 Season (the original seems to have very slow performance/flickering elements) and when I start an event in Spa in the wet, a large tile of the background scenery is missing as you start the first run down to Eau Rouge, so the trees are hard cut off on the left and right.

I switched to an older version 2.55.5 and it's fine. I tried the oldest on dgvoodoo2 site 2.86.1 and that also has the missing background chunk.
