Is there any way how to get engine sound working in F-16 combat pilot 1989 from DiD ? I hear some sparse pc speaker sounds when firing weapons etc….but no engine…. Also on YT videos of pc dos versions seems to be no engine sound…. both on dosbox or native dos… however amiga versions has engine sound. Does this game lacks engine sound on pc at all or is maybe there a way how to turn it on? Thank you guys….

MobyGames lists it as speaker only so I don't think you get engine sounds.

If you want to switch to the Amiga version, here is how you run it under Win10 with WinUAE.

Long long time since I launched it, so not sure if my memory is off, but seemed like a real basic stuttery loop to me. In which case....
i)launch a game known to provoke SB hanging note bug quickly.
ii)wait until it hangs on a sound.
iii) quit and launch F-16 🤣
