Most OSs will support the chipset without added drivers. Windows 95 would need the INF setup.
The Highpoint ATA66 controller would need the right mix of BIOS and drivers to work. Its firmware is stored in the mobo BIOS. But you should probably not use it. The HPT366 was quite flakey.
I just use the last official Abit BIOS on my old BF6. This board is a BE6-II with a 6th PCI slot (slave only) and no Highpoint chip.

There are three different versions of the ABIT BE6-II motherboard (first version, V1.2 and V2.0) and it depends on which version you've got if the latest BIOS for your board is "70", "71" or "72". You can download all of them from my ABIT motherboard BIOS page (https://soggi.org/motherboards/abit.htm). The only drivers you'll need are HighPoint HPT366 / HPT370 drivers and the Intel INF update for the Intel 440BX chipset (latest version is v3.20.1008) which are available from my drivers page (https://soggi.org/drivers/drivers.htm).
