Pretty sure. Found a google match for my stick where the chips come up as CTP-D43s, on RAM-Co-Shop. Also looked at the dots and they're 4 (although I admit they're hard to notice), just like the red Kingmaxes from earlier.

Ah, okay. I didn't see the other dots!

I use 1.54

I use the vintage version. Works perfectly for me.

1.54 seems to do the trick and is probably the only one that doesn't freeze. Anything past that seems to have the same effect as 1.63 and up - freezes at processor.

Anyways, 2nd Barton run. Anything past this doesn't seem to get to Windows although it does POST. The D43s I have are pushed to their absolute limit. 2-2-2-2.5 won't work, 3-3-3-2.5 seems to be their limit, which I guess is quite better than even the list on HardwareLuxx, where these were rated for 3-4-4-x.

The attachment x850 3-3-3-25 NF7 barton 2500.PNG is no longer available

Again, stock NF7 BIOS 27. No modded BIOS were used.

The CPU is doing very well. Nice!
Yes, this is a good result for Hynix CTP. Maybe you need to relax the timings to 2,5-4-4-8 to get further.

IIRC the 8-4-4-2.5 was the default "Optimal" setting (according to BIOS )at most of the FSBs above 210-ish or so.

98SE : P3 650, Soyo SY-6BA+IV, 384MB RAM, 80GB

Probably due to the timings in the SPD.

As far as I tested, the Hynix DDR1 chips rev. BT will only perform good if you use x-4-4-x timings, rev. DT will perform fine at x-3-3-x timings and the rev. CT is somewhere in between. Some may work fine with 4 some also at 3.
I guess the lead-free versions BTP / CTP / DTP will work simmilar.

Nice, a cpumark score! I put in on there incase people with dual socket wanted to play. Added to the board. Looking at that chart on the website, looks like thats a pretty good score!!!

Add SuperPi 1M(XS) as a CPU-Bench - it's quick and easy done. No benching under sub ambient allowed (well the bucket of icy water I know) makes it a fair competition for everyone.

It seems my A7N8X just decided to not do a thing anymore.. I'm a bit lost.. Nothing was changed, I just wanted to start it up today.

- No beeps, nothing
- If memory is removed, typical memory beeps
- VCore, VTT, Vmem are present
- Changed CPUs (used 3 different ones), all of them get warm, none of them POST
- No obvious things to see
- Removing the GPU yields no beeps
- Removing the CPU yields no beeps

Anybody ideas? I just wanted to put on some watercooling onto it.. 🙁

Added. CPU scores will not be separated by cores.

They look quite good, well. That can - of course - not mean anything. I could quickly head to the lab and de-solder them.. just to check.. not working is not working..

1.5XS

thefugger (owner of XS-Forum) should even know how to confirm the checksum. Last time seen on Linus YT channel... the sub zero monster he sold him.
