I have a question regarding the Quadro FX 1100 (which I understand to be a slightly downclocked GeForce FX 5700 Ultra).

Doing some research on various forums, it seems that the FX series is quite compatible with Windows 98, especially with 45.23 drivers, which are considered the gold standard.

However, the 5700 family is a bit of an anomaly in the FX series, as it was released as a refresh later in the lifespan, and the only one made on the superior IBM fab (as opposed to TSMC).

Accordingly, I've heard that NV36 (5700/Ultra/1100) face driver issues on Windows 98/Me.

Can anyone confirm this, or elaborate?

Thanks

Phil made a video on that card, worth a watch if you've not already seen it.

Nvidia still have drivers for all their cards (except NV1). https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

They have an 81.98 driver for this card for win95/98/me
