I remember as a kid seeing a Visual Basic 3 or 4 PowerPoint presentation at a local computer shop (running on a computer by the window) extolling the virtues of the new version and how much better and easy it was to create software with it.

Were these presentations part of VB's CDs somewhere? Or not-for-the-public resale software?

I'm pretty sure it would have been a Microsoft marketing thing and not available to the general public.

Doing a search on archive.org and came across this music CD MS released to somehow promote Office 2000.
