this started as a rusted case, as you can see in the bottom side picture, and the plastics almost black from age and niccotine, so i first gave it evaporust for the case, then painted it with silver enamel trying to get it as close to the original finish, then I scrubbed the front panel and painted it Rustololem Matt Beige, and redid the buttons in the same silver paint i did the case in, and then finally the U panel i cleaned it up, wire wheeled the whole thing, and then cleaned it again and applied the wood grain.

Specs
Pentium 75
Intel Advanced/EV 430FX board
S3 Vision 864 Video
ESS 1868 Audio Drive
3Com 3C905B-TX
WD AC2100 2.1gb HDD
Sony Quad Speed CD Rom
Teac 3.5 Floppy
Windows 95 RTM

The 7 Segment display smoked and died when the tantilum exploded and Amazon is delayed with my new case feet but overall im very happy, a few finishing touches to be done but I'm very happy with this, it took me a week to get it together

Nice computer but I would think about a S3 trio64 dx 3D for better game support.
And get a CF card adapter for a more reliable computer.
Actually, I would get 2 CF card drives and use one as master and the other as slave.
I like the ones by Startech they are better build quality.

Nice touch on the silver buttons! Looks good 😊.

That underside turned out clean. It had major pitting, where did you find this case? I thought Texas was the go to place for rust free cars (and computers) 😜

This is a great system in both specs and looks. You did a great job with the wood grain finish.

it was sitting in a storage locker for years, they forgot how many, on the floor on an outdoor storage building, so when it rained and the concrete soaked up that moisture it let it right into the steel.

Hi,

While I'm not particularly fond of the Woodgrain aesthetic, putting it on the tray of the CD drive is an interesting concept, and gives a lot of personality for the computer 😀.
