Hi all,

I am trying to run the DOS version of Shadow Warrior on my MacBook Air M1 via various versions of DOSBox but none seems to work: DOSBox, DOSBox-X, DOSBox Staging.

Each time I am starting from a clean DOSBox conf file and changing a few settings based on what I can gather online but no luck.

I installed the game using the DOS installer under DOSBox. SETUP.EXE works fine, but then when I launch SW.EXE all I get is a black screen, no matter what I choose under Screen Setup of SETUP.EXE.

I should add that I am able to run without issues Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition (again, DOS version installed under DOSBox with the original DOS installer from the original retail CD image) with all default settings of the DOSBox conf file (just cannot go fullscreen but I gave up on that one).

Has anyone been able to run Shadow Warrior under any version of DOSBox on Apple Silicon lately?
