Doing that while also having an Nvidia card in is going to be messy... XP did not like having bot nV and ATI cards in at the same time. the drivers didn't mesh, even moreso the final ones that supported XP for both platforms. I wish you the best of luck getting them to play nicely.

I've just purchased this HD 3850:

Look what arrived today from China! (Interestingly I paid zero taxes on this!!!)

It's hopefully going to be running along side a ZOTAC GT 430 and a Voodoo5 5500 in this system! (Hopefully I can get all three cards to play along nicely in a single system!)
Before I install it and attempt to run it I need a 6-pin to 8-pin converter, as I already have the 6-pin wiring in place:

I've just ordered this 6 to 8-pin adapter and should hopefully have it in the nest few days:

No Matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the HD 3850 to work with either the GT 430 or the Voodoo5 5500, so I've had to remove both of those cards from the machine!

The HD 3850 did perform rather well in this machine considering that it's fitted with two P4 XEON's that are only clocked @ 2GHz!

Even though the G5 Has a lesser AGP card installed, it still manages to pip the HD 3850 in this system due to its superior CPU performance! It probably also has a better AGP interface!

I'll neaten up all of the wiring once my 6 to 8-pin adapter arrives! (I had to test the card to give the seller feedback and the adapter will only arrive in about 2 weeks)

The only logical future upgrades for this machine are a pair of 3 GHz P4 XEONS and 2GB of RDRAM! (A future upgrade project)

Today I neatened this little beast up a bit!  So it’s ready for its CPU and RAM upgrade when the time comes!
