My apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place. I think I remember we had an 'I Bought this Today' or similar thread that I was looking for, but I can't find it.
Anyway, I bought this today from eBay (pics attached): It's a 15" Elonex MN015TEC TFT monitor from 2004. I don't know anything about it but it looks cute! It's beige which is a big plus for me and has integrated speakers. It also looks to be in amazing condition. It's sold as untested so I don't know if it works. I suspect that it doesn't which often explains why things are in great condition, but it's probably fixable and would look great amongst my retro set ups and easier to manage than my CRT's.
However I don't know anything about it and can't find anything through the regular searches. I guess that TFT monitors from 2004 were all pretty much the same. Does anyone have any specific information on Elonex monitors or something similar. I would guess that Elonex had these made by a third party. It's perhaps included with data sheets for one of their PC's? Who knows?
I don't know much about early flat screens so if anyone knows what I can expect and some additional insights this would be very welcome. I'll be able to make a better assessment when it arrives and I'll post some notes. Many thanks
