Hi all,
I got myself a cheap Leadtek GF6600 AGP. The seller said the card was working fine until the last power cycle, after which it just started to output garbage. I got the card almost for free and tested it. At first, it put no image on the screen so I decided to give it some fresh capacitors. After the recap I got this:

How should I diagnose this?

Have you checked back of the card for knocked off components?

Well no output from DVI. I tried booting with another PCI card, the moment XP tries to install the drivers for the 6600 the system locks up. So nothing seems to be missing from the card but will check under the microscope. The AGP bridge chip gets quite hot, the GPU gets warm.
