P.S. For example, does anyone remember when all the craziness about the "ozone hole" started? I recall it was from the late 80's and I've been "dying" from it for almost 40 years, yet still alive 😀 Now the "global climate change/temperature rising" is the new media bubble-gum for the next "mass extinction of humanity". And this summer is the most normal one for the last 20 years regarding the climate conditions, despite the media lies for "hottest summer so far".

It's not even contentious to me, CFCs chemical activity isn't something weird, its demonstrable, once the levels reduced the ozone isn't broken down anymore and slowly regenerated.

Yes, intelligent discussion would have been a welcome outcome, maybe even with a little introspection about our collective habits, consumption, etc. Unfortunately, someone seems to have given those pigeons an overdose of laxatives recently. It's a shame that we allow them to reduce what could have been a worthwhile discussion to exaggerations and absurdities. That's something that has been happening too often lately.
