Hi everybody,

I installed the dosbox on my kubuntu-system to play the old Commander Keen games. My Problem is, that the arrow-keys don't work.

I changed the keyboard layout to german. All other keys are working!
Furthermore there is no sound!

how can I solve that Problem?
thanks
Jonas

Just a shot in the dark...

Try usescancodes=true and false inside DOSBox config.

Try changing numlock status before launching DOSBox.

I think there is a bug of some kind with the latest release of Ubuntu + DOSBox + arrow keys. I think I have seen some posts about it. Something that was fixable using the keyboard mapper in DOSBox.

Thanks a lot!

And for the rest - I use ASUS A6U notebook with Ubuntu 8.10. Setting usescancodes=false in dosbox.conf works.
