I feel like this is six years too late but the MSI MAG A650BN has 20.0A on the 5V line which is pretty good considering it's like $60AUD and is 80 Plus Bronze rated...
The combined power between v3.3 and v5 is just 110w, not really good, considering that the old enermax can provide 180w.
1 year later, and I got to use two of the 2021 & one of the 2025 revisions of the Segotep ATX-500WH PSU, in 3 different builds, with some more disappointing discoveries:
Compared to the voltage on the back of the ATX connector; the output voltage on the Molex+Berg rail, was progressively lower the further down the cable I measured.
And this low voltage situation manifested ONLY with all the HDDs, FDD, etc. connected. So when there was actual power draw on that rail/cable.
The reason for this, was the very shitty crimp job, that was done from the factory on all the daisy-chained Molex connectors.
So basically a lot of the copper strands in all 4 wires (Red,Black,Black,Yellow), were severed during the factory crimping of every molex metal prong/spike, introducing several "choke-points" of higher impedance, the more Amps you were drawing through that rail/cable.
After I've disassembled all 3 Molex connectors (using a magnifying glass & a thick needle), and added solder to the back of every crimped prong (12 in total), I managed to finally get the same voltage that I was getting at the back of the ATX connector, now even at the Berg connector that is on the very end of the rail 😀
So if you got this PSU, you should grab a multimeter and compare voltages; as it most likely also needs this "treatment".
Something we didn't have to worry too much in the old days was copper-clad aluminum wiring that is showing up on modern electronics and sketchy cat6 cables. It looks like a copper conductor, but it sure doesn't act like it.
Chinese counterfeit cabling. It can't be category rated if it is CCA.
The strands looked and soldered like actual copper, not Copper-Clad Aluminium.
But besides the arguably small thickness & low number of strands (6 of them in each wire IIRC) which from my measurements, DO suffice (barely) ; the main problem was the way they were crimped!
On each molex, every metal prong/spike had 2 wires crimped in it (obviously.. since all the Molex are daisy-chained). With the strands of one wire (on the bottom) being perfectly aligned with the spike, while the strands in the other wire (on the top), forced to make a "Z" when the crimping tool pressed on the little hooks/clamps... which obviously resulted in "scissoring" a lot of the strands of the top wire in almost every case.
From what I could observe, the actual metal spike/prong component used in the Molex connectors, was not designed to acomodate 2 wires to be crimped in it.

Beware there is a reason why the MAG A650BN is so cheap: It's stuffed full of Jun Fu and Cheng-X crapacitors, bottom of the barrel junk that will not last long. Plus two pairs of undersized Teapos and Crapxons.

That said, otherwise ir's a decent budget platform (CWT CSB-A) also shared by the Corsair CX450M~650M and XPG Pylon 450~ 750W (both with more decent caps), and Thermaltake Smart BM2 (also with junk caps).
