Hi there, I just found some older folders on my hdd, filled with quite a lot of old drivers, manuals and firmware going back to the late 90s.

I guess some of it might be quite hard to find today, like Yamaha CDR400, TEAC532EB & CD-R58S firmware, "kärna razer boomslang"-drivers from 2002, ALS Tango 100 drivers from 1999, BIOS updates for Asus TUSL2, GA-6BXE, Soyo 5TF_d1, old Matrox, Leadtek and Diamond Monster drivers or a y2k-version of the bios compendium.

Is there a way to add them to vogonsdrivers, or upload them here? How?

You can upload on Archive org and share it here as a link. There is also the option of sharing through some Cloud storage

Create a new thread for each and every one, or just dump it in here with a short description for the search like this:

https://archive.org/details/yamaha-cdr-200-cdr-400-firmware-1.0n-1.0q
Yamaha CDR400/200 Firmware 1.0n
Yamah CDR400xx, CDR200, CRW4260 and CRW2260 Firmware 1.0q

I would just upload them together to archive.org with a list of the files (and an explanation of what they are if it isn't obvious) in the description, like what you've shown there. There's a chance that all of them are available individually elsewhere online, but it is nice to archive collections of such things just in case they aren't. The most important thing is that the description is detailed enough that people searching for such things will be able to find them.

No need to make separate threads about them here though. If people are looking for them some day they will likely search archive.org. Thank you for taking the time to preserve and upload this stuff. 😀

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Have you tried to contact Squallstrife by PM for uploading to vogonsdrivers?

Archive.org is soooo slow. I've started to open my first 3 tickets on retroweb and added manuals, drivers and firmware, seems to be the best kept and organized database
