this is the 2001 game formerly known as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. It just had launched a remastered release to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

(Actually not sure if this tree can compile a binary to work with the original armacwa/opf data yet, but i'm sure a fork and a lot of elbowgrease into a portable SDL form can lead back)

FUCK "AI". It is a tool of fascism. We do not need it. We do not use it.

This is great news!
This forked repository seems to be the most active. The official version cherry picks some of the commits from there.

The GOG supplied package is now adapted to the 'remaster'. It includes Windows x64 and Linux x64 binaries.

Nice. no media projects so far that i know of (making a whole fictional island and fictional vehicles/guns etc is a huge undertaking even if the game was always technically mid). but also there's the issue of such projects getting warth*nder posters given the milsimming so that's a liability risk in the making
