Bit of good news in the spendy hardware times...

Only a bit though, probably Sandy/Ivy/Haswell gen hardware has just bottomed and going to be in demand again.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

steamwebhelper's a big nuisance to older CPUs even on linux, sandy bridge ain't likely going to take all those chromes... you'll see 'steamwebhelper is not responding' before you can even see steam.
