Ok when it is all OK for you with Intel- ATI, then..Bingo#

Can you tell me how can i Use Intel- ATI ?

I tried Core To Duo E7300, 6670, work not.

On XP 32 Bit, After Boot, VPU Recover

On win7 32 Bit, Bluescreen Boot Problem.

The Internet back then, is full with this Problem.

Intel- Nvidia, AMD-ATI, all OK

I have a perfectly working system with a core 2 quad q9650 and "ati" 6850 in the other room right now, the problem is in your TV

I simply install Windows XP and then install the drivers for the GPU. No problems whatsoever. I'm using a Core 2 Quad Q9650 with an AMD HD 7950. I also use an ATI x850xt without issue in combination with the same CPU. You may be running into some compatability issue unrelated to the GPU.

Well, this looks like a generic game thread so I’ll ask my question here.

I’ve got a laptop with ATI 9700 Mobility, Win XP and catalyst 7.11.

I’m bothered that I don’t have light with dynamic shadows, this can be seen at the beginning of the game.

Okay case solved I think, I installed on old machine original distributive, not the GOG one, and now light is back.

Hey guys, in the 4th mission Pier there is an area in the woods (see the picture) which is foggy a bit. I always remembered this fog when I used to play Far Cry on Windows XP. Now Im playing on Win10, CD’s version, patch 1.32 + AMD64 bit upgrade + silent patch but there is no fog in the woods at all. I play on HIGH or even VERY HIGH settings but still no fog.

Is there anybody who can tell me why this happens? Thank you.

Did you install the Enhanced Content patch alongside the 64 bit patch? It's supposed to increase view distance, which is why probably there's no fog. The readme for it also specifically mentions new content for that level, so I'm sure it's related to that.

Yes, you are right. The problem is the enhanced content patch. Somebody who modified the map and added new things in there must have removed the fog from the forest which is a shame because it gave it a good fighting atmosphere. I tried to activate volumetric fog in game.cfg but nothing happened. Looks like the fog was removed out of the map file in the engine.

So sad. I dont understand such improvements.

dgVoodoo2 is the best option, still the problem is present with it too.

EDIT: dgVoodoo2 FX 5700 preset solves the problem 😉

I'm reading ambient occlusion or shader errors in the unpatched retail 1.0 version of Far Cry 1:

Specs:
Windows 11
BIOSTAR Group B550MH
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
AMD Ryzen 5 4500

Why the unpatched???

Strange thing is, never found a script or version combination to enable GOD mode. 😂
