Because there are no additional tabs on the screen properties window. Only 6.23 driver has additional tabs - Information, Options, DualHead, Monitor Settings, Color where you can set a custom resolution on Monitor Settings tab:

Success! I've been able to modify the pins and the new frequency is now 124/155! I did two tries, the first one I modified just the pin 56 and 92. It gave the new clock in dos but not in windows, then I modified every 72 in the file to 78, it gave the higher clock in both environment. Apparently there are differeent clocks for different modes. The performance are faster, it doesn't suffer the drawback of powerstrip overclock. I'm going to push it further, if anything goes wrong I will be able to revert to the old pins.

I can say that the card doesn't support the 200 mhz on memory, it shows artifacts after some seconds.

I've been expierencing the same behavior with PowerStrip when trying to OC my 115.2/144MHz G450 PCI card and I found this post.
Well, I can't figure out how to use this text to overclock it. Could you please explain a bit more?
Also, my card has bios 1.7b3, are there any gains/disadvantages if I upgrade it to 2.1?

With progbios there is a switch to use just to modify the pins, since in matrox cards they can be flashed separately.

You are welcome, unlucky I don't have that pc working at the moment so I can't help you much but I'm sure you can flash that txt file with the right switch to have the overclocked frequencies and the bios you already have.
I didn't notice any difference between a version of the bios and another, unlucky I doubt there is a public changelog.
I also have another glimpse but it could be for the g550, which came with 6ns and 5.5 ns memories, the latter were able to achieve obviously a higher overlcock.

They could be legit, I can't help because I bought my card from a european listing on ebay. Have you checked if is there any seller? I wonder how much is convenient to buy from China with the new import fee and shipping cost in the listing.

I have a G450 PCI that id like to play around with like you have... thing is im pretty lost as to what you have done here?
can you in very basic terms point me in the direction to begin doing the same to my card..
im not really sure what the pins file is.. 🤣 i thought it was physical pins on the card board when i first read it..

Got a card like this a month ago and sadly i have some issues. I got a crazy shimmering of dark horizontal lines all across the screen. And after some time it turn into some kind of screen tearing with horizontal lines all across the screen wobbling left and right.

Tried everything - cleaned the card, different PCs, different drivers. At the end i tried adding a FAN and suddenly it works now.

Did some testing and i'm pretty sure it's a bridge chip issues. Did a small pins overclock and saw the tearing again. Added a radiator to the bridge chip no more tearing with overclocking. Reverted to original clocks though.

I don’t remember exactly I know used the
Matrox millennium
Matrox Millennium-ll
Matrox G200
And
Matrox g450 which I think was agp
I used this with a dual Sony 20” CRT Monitors.
