is there any way to get sound on dosbox. at first i thought it was just the game but i tried others and i still dont have sound can anyone help?

every game i have tried doesnt have sound......sim city 2000 the settlers theme hospital........i'm using windows xp. and i havent seen anything on the status window. and yes i have my speakers turned on and up 🤣.
