I recently got this sound card from Terratec, the Maestro 32, not to be confused with the 32/96 or the TT-929, and noticed that none of the usual sites like theretroweb know it.
Now under its FCC ID you find a bunch of Gallant SC-6000 cards, but none of them have a line out in form of a red and white cinch plug, and all of their PCBs look noticeably different.
There also was a Terratec Dream GSWAVE wavetable daughterboard bundled with the card, which features unlicensed Roland SC-88 samples that Terratec got in legal trouble over, as well as a decent FX processor.
The Speaker Out coupling caps are pretty much the best you got back then (470uF 16V) but Speaker Out will probably sound shit anyway because the amp is actually two LM386, one for each channel.
Thankfully, the line out is not routed through those and goes directly to the red and white connectors, so it should sound a lot better.
This sohuld be compatible to Sound Blaster Pro, Windows Sound System (Impulse Tracker ho!) and it features a genuine Yamaha OPL3 (YMF 262-M, so AdLib Tracker will also sound great), I'm really looking forward to installing it.
I hope the driver floppies that came with it still work, because I could not find the driver anywhere, not even on Terratec/Ultron's page or archived versions of their FTP directory.
Sadly, that 32 Mbit wavetable daughterboard I mentioned is shittyfluting melodies, a really good example is when the bridge of Duke Nukem 3D - Grabbag starts, I suspect this is due to a 50 MHz oscillator failing.
