So even considering my lack of experience with the 486 and prior era of computers, I feel like this is a dumb question, but I'm baffled. I've never seen an AT style case with no power button on the front, and that seems to be the case (no pun intended) with this case I just picked up for a 486 build. It has turbo and reset buttons, no power. I am assuming it's on the back somewhere, possibly the square hole where the power supply attaches? Is it a special type of AT power supply with an integrated rocker switch for power? Please help!

Yes, power switch on the back was OG AT PSU, but not very common after 89 or so. Have mostly only seen it in 5170 lookalike styled AT cases after that, which were still selling a couple of years into 90s, dunno if old stock or they still made them until then.

Edit: probably easier to use a switched ATX with PowerGood jumpered and motherboard power adapted to AT than finding one... Some 25 years ago, there were a few NOS around dirt cheap because nobody wanted them for more recent cases.

EditII: if you do find one, double check size, they came in original AT size which was huge and a more compact version.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
