Yea checked caps looks fine but why p2 works without problems

I have a VIA Apollo socket 370 motherboard which had bad caps at some point. It could then run at 66MHz FSB fine. But 100 and 133 MHz would not work anymore. Replaced the Caps and it could run high FSB again.

Granted, in your situation, net CPU-speed is different from FSB. As high FSB is more taxing on the motherboard compared to net CPU-speed.

Bad caps maybe?

It could be the slot connector. Being 30 years old, even hard gold plating can be tarnished or become dirty from the environment it's in.
Perhaps the P2's gold contacts are cleaner - that would explain the intermittent working with the P3 as well.

Yesterday, I was testing a job lot of AGP video cards that had been stored poorly. On I think 3 of them? cleaning the tarnishing off of the gold fingers of the card's AGP connector got them working.
Starting off with a cotton bud with IPA on it did clean up some of the pins, but the worst ones benefitted from being gently scraped with a ceramic scraper until the pads were shiny again. Of course if you're using ceramic or a flat blade screwdriver, be careful not to scratch up the gold plating.

Another thing you could do is spray some IPA / contact cleaner on the CPU card's gold fingers then insert it into the slot1 connector a few times to clear any dirt in there too.
