that board looks like a fake to me. no other board has a MIDMURO SME9964000 chip. and ive never seen one with an QFP 68kEC chip (always PLCC), the samsung ram is date coded 2013.
I've also never seen an EMU8000 marked like that, and its dated coded 2000 and creative were not making them at that point.
the card might work, but its totally a fake knockoff.

This board is the internal module from a Genio MP1000 (a Korean piano mute/auto-play unit), not a Creative retail product. That context explains the unusual parts:
· SME9964000: a custom logic chip used specifically on this module, not a Creative part.
· QFP 68kEC: I've seen other Genio MP1000 modules with the same layout, so this is a real production variant, not a one-off fake.

· EMU8000 date code 2000: E-MU/Creative continued producing EMU8000 chips for OEM and embedded customers well past the peak AWE32/64 era. A 2000 date code on a niche OEM module is plausible.
· Samsung RAM date code: I don't see evidence of a 2013 date. The marking is SAMSUNG 419A. Samsung SRAM/DRAM date codes typically use a 3- or 4-digit format where the first digit(s) indicate the year and the remaining digits indicate the week. So "419" most likely means 2004 week 19 .
Functionally it's Wave Blaster II–class: EMU8000, 2 MB ROM, and it works in a standard WaveBlaster header.

If anyone has a Genio MP1000 service manual or another unit to compare, that would help settle the remaining questions.
