I am pairing an ESS MK1869 + PCMIDI and a Sound Blaster 16 and want to use all three MIDI interfaces; PCMIDI for my external synthesizers and both wavetable headers for modules. This works fine in DOS, but in Windows I can only allocate ports 300 or 330 for the ES1869 and SB16, and the PCMIDI has a hardware switch for the same.

Is it possible to modify the SB16 drivers to change either port 300 or 330 to something else so that I had use its wavetable header as well?

You can try changing the resource configurations in the [LogConfig] section of the INF file for the SB 16 driver. Then you will need to reinstall it.
