I just got a book about creating stereograms on your PC, which included the software RSDraw, but it also mentions one that is more complex, called Stareogram, that isn't included in the bundled disk.
I tried looking at SIMTEL archives for this software, it is referenced here (as Stareogram 3.21):

Anybody has a copy of this or knows where I could get it?

Hi, the only reference I've found is the FTP address: ftp://katz.anu.edu.au/pub/stereograms
Not sure if the URL still works, FTP is a dead protocol and Firefox nolonger supports it.
If only the filename was known.. 🙁

Yeah the FTP site is not on archive.org or at least I can't find it.

But 3.x can be found at textfiles with the filename stareogm.zip (dated January 1994):

EDIT: The INI file says this is v3.21.

The FTP site doesn't seem to exist any more.

FTP still lives, but not openly. Any version of IE can FTP, although on Windows 10 you need to do a special shortcut. Or use FileZilla.

As for stareogram, what is it? If it's one of those programs where you to go crosseyed while looking for a message in an image, I have something called STARE-EO somewhere in my archives. It uses a doc check, but I have the partial manual online at https://messui.polygonal-moogle.com/cheats/41.html

@Robbbert: Crosseyed, yes.

It's probably not the same prog, the textfiles one is batch oriented.
And I didn't spot anything about any doc checks being required.
