So, just for kicks, I modded one of my Pentium 200 CPUs (pulled BF1 to ground) and tested it on an Intel Plato. Works like a charm, have been playing with it for many hours now.
And since I did this, I also added a socket for the Dallas chip (and replaced the Dallas with the custom RTC module designed by Necroware) + replaced the DIN5 keyboard connector with PS/2 keyboard & PS/2 mouse connectors. Btw, if you do this, DO NOT add the 3 missing capacitors, just add the 3 x missing FBs near the mouse connector + missing 47 ohm resistor (R13D7) located near the N82C42PE keyboard controller.
For some reason, after adding those 3 x 1nF caps, both the keyboard and mouse stop working. Removing them restores keyboard & mouse functionality. Not sure if it's related to my specific board revision, or if it's something that happens with other revisions as well (there are some boards that come with the PS/2 connectors from the factory, and they obviously do work with those caps). Anyway, worth keeping in mind (+ the mouse works perfectly fine without them anyway).
Added some photos with the 200 MHz Pentium CPU mod & a few benchmark scores.
