Well there's always GitLab but i sense you won't like that either. I'm not aware of smaller similar platforms as gitlab and github is all i've ever encountered.

Also these things change constantly, what's the common login way today might change tomorrow.

For some reason the current trend is becoming "no password" at all, we send a one time code to your email because apparently it's better to lose everything if you lose your email.

I say go with whatever does the job better for you and pretend the rest is not there. Resistance is futile after all.

if you just want to share a zip, there are countless file sharing sites to do that from.
Github, gitlab is mainly for version controls and a mountain of other features.

well, then use another one, like dropbox. Just for a download link github is not really useful.
And just to clarify as github is there for version control of code it is important to use f2a when using github 😀

mm..i think i dont explain myself, people want githuib because can see the code without download etc, then ask for this in Mp or emails. Fuck, even I like this

What i dont want, is they force me this 2fs crap, then i ask for option like codeberg that dont force me, but i dont know if people like this alternatives, I ask if someone use this or different options and what they think

I know how to upload a zip file, i did from bbs times

As far as I can tell Codeberg is the exact opposite of what you're looking for (opinion, discussion). They state themselves that Codeberg isn't for purely personal projects, but collaborative projects with an active community around them, however that is measured. Their terms and statements also make them out to be very particular, if not meddlesome (to say it charitably), about the sort of projects they agree to host and how they may affect their reputation - again, however that is measured.

I don't know about any *free* Github-like solutions that don't enforce 2FA. Except for Sourceforge maybe, but those extremely picky people you describe could always find a reason to dislike that too.

It's a funny ol' world where personal websites are distrusted, but the biggest shady corporate giant (saying that as someone who uses Github myself) is A-OK. Clown emojis optional.

Oh thanks, yes, you right, i was reading about codeberg and I was having the feeling, that was I decide to ask before start uploading my stuff there

Sourceforge is fine for me, but, this is personal opinion, i feel very complicated to download stuff

In guthub, i found easy, notmally I enter a project, and i have a releases link, great! o no release links? dont worry, code>download zip, great!! oh a Issues tab, i will say something os not working... well, this is all i use github, even my personal account, i never use anything beyond that, and i think 99% of people same, thats why they ask, is a place i think you can ask questions or submit ideas etc easy

If not found any optioin, i will use my github account, the problem is because i dont know how to use the 2fa stuff, i already lost my account 2 times... !!! first a token or whatever i dont have, second use a plugin in my browser, the plugin get old or i dont know, and second time losty account jaja

thanks

If that is the reason, then you just need to organize your 2fa codes, fallback codes once very careful and you should be fine.
