Many platforms already have this thread.

But the socket 775 really deserves it.

It is more than 20 years old.

It is also the most overclocking-friendly socket to date both in terms of relative clockspeed gains as well as absolute MHz number increase.

And yet, it is still cheap as chips. You can easily get a GREAT overclocking board for less than 50 bucks, CPUs for ten or less, RAM for little more than shipping cost.

It is not just cheap to get into, but also relatively easy, because the good boards do not need any hardmods (anything that needs soldering) to improve OC headroom, you can probably get to the silicon limit without.

Even if you do not get into the top ten places, you will probably still feel satisfied from your scores, as CPUs like Pentium D805, E2160, E5800, E8400, Q9650, not even mentioning the multiplier-unlocked QX models, will reward you with performance gains so high that you will see the increased performance with the naked eye before any benchmark finishes.

Rules:

• Socket 775
• Number of cores: no restrictions
• Chipset: no restrictions.
• 3DMark03, 3DMark06, Cinebench R10
• OS: No restrictions.
• CPUz must be in the screenshot.
• GPU: No restrictions.
• Cooling: Air or Water. Water may be chilled with actual ice, but no chiller etc.
• Overclocking is a must, no stock scores!!!
• Driver tweaks are encouraged.
• Only post scores you are actually proud of.
• We rank system by: 3DMark2003 score x2 + 3DMark 2006 score + Cinebench R10 single thread score + Cinebench R10 multi thread score

So basically we just add the scores together, with the 2003 score counting twice. Screenshots are needed for every score.
