BUB put together a detailed video explaining the 504MB limit, but at the end was a surprise sneak peak of BUBios--

I imagine there was a lot of AI assist on this one. But if we are at the point where we can "vibe code" a new BIOS, lots of fun options open up.

Fun fact: Back in the day, the visible part of the BIOS, the GUI, was a separate program called "CMOS Setup Utility". Or just CMOS Setup or Setup.
By the late 90s, the term faded out of use and people said "Go in the BIOS". Ooga. :)

Yep, and that led to me messing up my first computer, a Compaq Presario CDS 510 a couple of weeks after I got it, since the setup part was in the hard disk drive and I changed the disk parameters to try to see what would happen 🤦

Anyway, BuB did mention that his BIOS was indeed coded with AI and based on MR BIOS.
