I'm sorry to interrupt, I noticed that the devices supported from the drivers are growing, so I wonder what's the purpose of this project? Create a multi device driver or a more optimized for s3 cards?

Both really. The Direct3D/OpenGL code/core is shared between all cards, so improvements in one can improve others.

I've posted this elsewhere but thought it was cool.
This compares the most recent/last Matrox driver to v9x driver for Matrox Mill 2.
Previously textures did not render, now they do! In hardware Direct3D.

It's literally astonishing that you achieved what Matrox couldn't.
I built:
Convert old ASUS ASC boardviews to KICAD PCB!
Re: A comprehensive guide to install and play MechWarrior 2 on new versions on Windows.
Dos+Windows 3.11+tcp+vbe_svga auto-install iso template
Script to backup Win9x\ME drivers from a working install
Re: The thing no one asked for: KICAD 440bx reference schematic

If you have your desktop set to 16bit colour (not 8bit) then Windows 95 can't switch correctly; AOE is expecting 8bit colour.
If you change your desktop to 8bit before starting that game it should work, hopefully!
AoE starts fine when running on 16bit Stock Driver Desktop.

Thanks I’ll check again then, I might need to decompile aoe to see what it does, StarCraft seems different

0.17 is now out https://github.com/michaeldale/velocity9x/rel … ses/tag/v0.17.0 this fixes some Glide issues on GMA950 and first release that supports the Voodoo 4 (its slow and not finished).
The reporting is also better, and the update checker and auto update function has been working for people which is cool!

I dont have UT99 at the moment, but NFS2SE did not run on my XL, OpenGL MultiTexture works.
Here is the plan built to add support for ATI 3DCIF, I hope to add soon.

Rage II should have Palletized textures support, but i have not seen it in action, R3 has it.
Here BRender: Re: ATi RagePro drivers and software
Best ATi Rage3 drivers for 3DCIF / Direct3D / OpenGL / GLUT / DVD : ATi RagePro drivers and software
33+MiniGL / OpenGL Win 9x dll files for all ATi-Rage3 based cards : ATi RagePro OpenGL files
I knew there was a reason I was "hoarding" Rages.... well not all that intentionally, they just seem to turn up. Though the next incidental Rage coming in as part of a lot I am kind of anticipating a little because it's a "full fat" 8MB Rage Pro Turbo PCI, think my other PCI only has 4.
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
