What are the silent IDE HDDs and IDE DVDRW drives or i have to look laptop equipment?
Slot1 Cpu 50x50 fan also noisy i think, HDD is EXCELSTOR J880 and DVDRW is SH-182D.
Bit noisy at the moment for my taste, i would like to lower the noise levels to minimum.
AOpen H340A black case with 200w PSU (No other fan). HDD options and DVD options?

I will try cdslow , thanks : http://cdslow.org.ru/en/cdslow/z01-manual.html

Not used SD card before, i have 3.5 ->2.5 ide converter and i can find some 2.5 ide drive, its should be quieter than 3.5 7200rpm.

Try CDBeQuiet! for DOS (note that for some drives you have to re-run it if you cycle the tray): https://www.a20gate.net/dos-tools/

Your DVD drive is rated at 48x for reading CDs and 16x for DVDs, so if software solutions don't work then a slower drive probably will.

If you want an actual HDD, I think the Seagate Barracuda IV series were the quietest 3.5" models.

I use SD card to IDE adapters in my vintage machines now:

For DOS I use 4GB "Class 10" cards, and for Windows I get the fastest 128GB drives I can justify at today's prices.
