What does a love for design, a soft spot for retro hardware, access to a laser cutting machine and a bunch of free time get you?

Modeled after the Diamond Monster 3D Rev B from 1996.

Sure took a while to draw all the vectors for each individual dataline, recreate all markings and logos and design the bracket and VGA connectors. I also made the SMD resistors but they ended up being too tiny to be legible and practial to glue onto the board. Still, holding it all assembled in my hand now, it just feels real and makes for a great desk ornament.

So yeah, it's not real and sorry for the tease but it was just too fun of a project not to share here 😀

Beautiful 😁

I have thought a long time about making a wood ATX case. I need a new case now, so, you've inspired me to go ahead and draft a design. It won't be as pretty as your carbon foam Voodoo, though.

Card is made out of 4mm plywood.

Hmm.. making an ATX case seems like a daunting task. But very cool indeed!
