Hello!

I am reverse engineering the S3 Sonic Vibes PCI sound card (Early PCI sound card looks like) for emulation in 86Box, I have currently gotten these features to work:

-Drivers install and work in Windows 98 and Xubuntu 6.10
-Wave playback works
-CD audio works

But currently I cannot work on the MIDI wavetable, even after reverse engineering the S3SV Win9x drivers and datasheet work, I have not been able to get the wavetable function of the card to work
As such if anyone has a real card please dump the DSP if you can, I made a tool for this purpose: https://github.com/NexGenDriven/svdump/releases (Source code is available and can be compiled)

Thanks

Instructions for the svdump tool:

Install drivers in Win9X and obtain the 16bit I/O base hex from the device manager
Boot into a clean DOS boot disk without any drivers loaded and run the program
Provide the file dumps as an attachment or through a GitHub issue
