Hi.

I had to order a new harddrive and install exp, etc.

Now the real problem is that I went to try and play my copy of Duke2 (For example purposes, this happens with most all dos games) and it just loads up a big black screen. I can alt tab to get out of it though and used VDMSound, same results...

Is there a way for me to run Duke2 without having to set up shortcuts in dosbox?

Learn to use DOSBox. It is BAR NONE a classic gamer's best friend. Once you invest the time into learning how to use it, you will see that it is extremely easy to use. For DOS games on modern PCs, it is the only way to fly.

Yeah, Ok, thanks. I do really like VDMSound however simply because I can just right click and run the game. I dont know if its sheer luck or what, but most dos games on my old harddrive would simply just run perfectly with vdmsound for some really weird reason.

Ill invest more time in Dosbox. But for the record, any way I would get past that black screen of doom?
