Is there a description posted anywhere of precisely what the "timed" .conf parameter ("enable timed intervals for axis") does? I'm trying to make a gamepad "feel right" for some games and would like to understand the options I have...

I apologize if this is already in documentation somewhere; I looked but could not find anything more about it.

Thanks!

timed uses actual timing intervals when reporting the joystick position,
whereas the timed=false (ie. old style) does it a more simplified way.
Stick to the timed if it works, the "feeling" of the joystick/gamepad can
probably be adjusted by recalibration in your OS joystick dialog.
