Hi,

I have previously used VDMSound with VDMS Launcher on my system successfully, but have not used it for some time. I recently tried again to use it (on the same system and for the same game) and now VDMS is not getting past loading the dll with the following being the last thing to be displayed:

Loading 'VDDLoader.dll'...

At this point nothing else happens.

I'm running Windows XP and the only major changes I have meade are to keep it fully patched. The only other thing I can think of that may be causing this problem is that I have installed a program called Direct IO (http://www.direct-io.com/) - could this be causing the problem?
