maybe bad disks?

Nah, the disks are just fine, Dominus. Tried em on another computer and installation was no problem there. Gotta be something else... *SIGH* 😢

faulty ram perhaps?

I'll see if I had the foresight to make images of my disks. I know that I tried this before for pentagram but didn't document this yet. If I haven't made images I'll have to climb the attic again.
BUT if it worked (I assume also with dosbox?) on another computer than chances are there is something wrong on your end, like keropi wrote, faulty RAM or your floppy drive has gone bad.
You can always copy the good installation from the one computer over to the other via an usb stick or another media.

Sorry, you haven't mentioned dosbox. I had just assumed that 😀
So, yeah, must be something bad with your computer then 🙁

Thank you guys, I finally did it. Since I already own the original disks, I just found me another copy that works. YAY! 😀 😀
