I'm new to DosBox so that I'm sure is half the issue!
Using Win XP, Dosbox 7.2, Xbox 360 wireless controller, Thrustmaster Afterburner controller.

Running Ultimate Doom from the CD or from a harddrive I have a problem that is the same on either of the controllers.

The controllers with the joystick in neutral have the scene turning right and backwards. If I move the stick some what to the left and up I can cancel the affect. But it sure is hard to play trying to compensate.

I have calibrated both in Win Xp to no avail. I have also searched this forum, printed DosBox and D-Fend instructions and still no joy.

So if someone here can assist I sure would appreciate it.

do you want to use the joystick or not.
if not. open the configuration file of dosbox (shortcut is in the startmenu)
and change joysticktype=auto to joysticktype=none

if you want. Try changing the value of the timed option

Yes, I'd like to be able to use the Xbox 360 controller....I shall now figure out how to play with the timed option
